Al Thake
Albert Thake (September 21, 1849 – September 1, 1872) was an English professional baseball player who played left field for the Brooklyn Atlantics team of the NAPBBP.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 work = retrosheet.org )〕 Thake died on September 1, 1872, when he drowned off the coast of Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, New York while fishing. Teammate and Manager Bob Ferguson arranged a benefit game that day in his memory.
